I absolutely love doll making and the process of dreaming up new faces, personalities and stories to go with them. Playing with an old zipper inspired my Maeve here. In a lot of ways she is auto biographical. Her clothes are odd, her hair’s out of sorts and she can’t ever seem to “zip it” entirely. But her tiniest button on her little foot tells the story.
