Jack In The Box Toys - $95.00

I had such fun making these little Jack in the Box toys! Each is made to look a bit worn and well loved  reminding me of the wonderful things from my childhood! I've used a Halloween theme for most of them, with a more traditional clown for my Favourite of the bunch! Each has it's own little scene on the front of the crackled and aged hand crafted box, each has a rusty wind that sports a special bead. Each is a one of a kind, signed and dated.

Bushel and Peck - $100.00

Recently a dear friend of mine told me she misses the "fun" things I used to create, so I've created two "silly" things this month just to prove I still have a bit of whimsy in me! First is Bushel and Peck.... Bushel is the Sheep of course and Peck is the crow. Bushel has such a think coat this year his legs have all but disappeared under it! And there riding on his back, still attempting to steal the stars from the sky is his lifelong pal Peck.  The set is mixed media and has all manner of little odd bits here and there. This is a one of a kind, I don't use a patterns, unless I create my own, I come up with a simple 2 second drawing and go from there most of the time simply sewing from that simple drawing and seeing what I come up with. Tyss - $100.00

And last but not least is Tyss. She was created with all the silly phrases I tend to utter to my lovely Husband.....Tyss the Pig is on her way to take Ice, to those people in a very hot place (I think you know the one I mean) who never get ice water, and of course she only does this "once in a blue moon." So I guess you can pretty much figure out what phrases are most popular in our household. Tyss the wonder-pig was created with just a bit of imagination and some mixed media bits. She is a one of a kind who will come to you signed and dated....never let it be said
