Glitter and Grunge is a juried site so we can help ensure that our customers know that when they visit they are getting high quality, handmade original work. Each and every member of Glitter and Grunge contributes to the reputation of our co-op.

The work displayed and sold on Glitter and Grunge must be original work. The artists and crafters here do not use other people’s designs or patterns for this site, not even with permission. We know that times are tough right now, so we give our members a lot for their money. First, we set a low price for our services - only $15 per month! You can list as many items on our site as you want. There is no limit. We never charge a commission. No matter how much you sell, you will not pay more than $15 a month.

We have a state of the art website which was redesigned in March 2009 so that in a stylish and professional manner we can display your handmade creations.  Many customers come back over and over to see the new work that their favorite artist is offering. We reinvest the dues of our members back into marketing the website to our customers so that you can sell your work.

We buy advertising in well known art magazines that reach the right customers. We also purchase web-based advertising to drive customers to our site who are looking for handmade goods. We are small and small is good because you and your work can’t get lost in the masses, like on a site with hundreds of sellers. Unlike other websites which have more artists than one can easily browse through, we are able to offer services and attention that the big guys can’t. For example, we are available to offer advice on how to display your work and make it more marketable to your customers. Furthermore, from time to time, we offer opportunities for our artists to make marketing investments by arranging additional advertising to feature a small number of our artists.
